TASK with MACROfunction,  MICROfunction and Grammar contents. 

TASK	MACROFUNCTION	MICROFUNCTION	GRAMMAR
The teacher sends the students via whatsApp an extract audio from a very well-known movie which the pupils do not know. (Shrek) Once they listen to it, they will have to guess which movie is about. They will have to mention the characters involved in the conversation.  They will have to discuss what the characters are doing and talking about. Finally, they will have to watch the video this extract belongs to and check the answers.	Exchanging goods and services.	Listening to the conversation. Understanding vocabulary. Telling the class briefly what happens in the movie.	Present Continuous and Simple Present Tenses. Stative verbs. Modal verbs. Proper Nouns.

Are we English teachers or teachers of English?

       The concept of "task" has become an important element in syllabus design, classrooom teaching and learner assessment. It underpins several significant research agendas, and it has influenced educational policy making in both ESL and EFL settings.
